FAQ for ERP CONTRACTORS

AuthenticIT specializes in matching senior level Project Managers and Business Analysts with projects requiring help from professionals who have "been there, and done that".  We are typically asked to provide resources who have successfully completed multiple ERP (or CRM) projects and have 10+ years of experience in consulting.  Some industry experience is valuable to employers as well, though usually not a requirement.  Most of the business analyst roles are in Financials, Procure to Pay and Quote to Cash process areas.  Our clients expect our team to bring high energy, a positive attitude and thought leadership to each and every project.  Roles may be full-time or part-time, and usually a heavy remote work model.

We do not actually post "jobs" on our website at this time.  Our team is typically working with very senior individuals at the companies we support, and we are providing a very personalized search for them.  Many of the executives and hiring managers we assist with staffing have been implementing ERP and CRM solutions with our advisory team for over 20 years in various capacities.  As such, the project roles we are filling are usually not posted on job boards, but come through as professional network referrals.  

Strategic digital transformation initiatives do come through our referral pipeline, and we usually staff these selection and strategy projects with our Advisory Team based on availability.  Most of our advisors are senior level folks who are very discerning about the projects they are willing to sign up for, and they prefer to be remote and part time.  Many are prior CIOs or other Executive level IT professionals.  If this describes you, and you would like to explore becoming an advisor with us, please reach out through the link on our Advisor Gallery page for consideration.  

No, AuthenticIT resources are part of our professional network, and not a pool of unvetted resumes that are shopped around on job boards.  As such, we do not "market" resources openly or charge for our time to match them with the best, most fulfilling roles. We invest time in each other and in our clients to make everyone successful.  The result is a transparent, high trust and "pay it forward" engagement model where open roles and project referrals go both ways.  

We do everything possible to ensure that both client bill rates and contractor pay rates are kept in line with what we are seeing in the market.  Our goal is to offer our clients very reasonable bill rates, and if we need to make less margin on a particular staffing opportunity to align the right professional to a role, we will do so to make the client successful.  Bill rates to clients range from $130 to $170 per hour depending on experience, and we expect to make 20-25% margin, which is industry standard.
